ATX-based melotheory infuses disco rhythms with sad boi indie-rock to create lush soundscapes and danceable grooves. Led by genre-bending producers Patrick Insull and Austin Pedersen, the band has catapulted itself into the Austin music scene since its first show in October 2023. After a 2024 of firsts—first album release, first KUTX feature, first TV appearance, first residency—it’s only onwards and upwards for melotheory.
